Sheep Shearing

Early Summer shearing of our sheep from Healing Hearts Ranch. We use our sheep as part of our animal isted therapy programs. www.healingheartsranch.org For children with tactile issues the sheep provide a unique texture experience. We do not shear them too close since we want to keep a good amount of wool for the kids to touch. We do want to trim them enough to keep them from over heating. Thanks to Jeff Svoboda for sharing his shearing skills and stand. This is our first year with sheep.
