There is a 44 tooth scorpion and a 44 tooth 5 star thinning shear. Other than the 5 star being considered a "level 2" shear, is there a difference in the type of finish between the two thinning shears? For example, is one considered a finishing and one considerd a bulking shear? I simply cannot find the information… and I’ve looked!

Okay I’m mixed with black and white so my hair is kinda kinky With little curls and i straighten my hair pretty often and I want to get my hair thinned cause my hair is really really thick so I have to do something and the reason I might not be able to get it thinned is because of the texture of my hair it could make it look even thicker if I get I thinned but idk yet so. Idk what I should do to make it thinner or make it look thinner pls help if u can thank you
depends, do you have layers in your hair?
if you do, that might be the reason its so kinky. maybe just grow-out the layers
`when you go to the hair dresser they should be able to sort it out.
