Hey Everyone!
I have started cutting my husbands hair. Last time I gave him a hair cut I got it all the same length but it looked blotchy and not well blended in. (I am cutting his hair only with scissors.) Does anyone have any techniques that can help me give him a better cut.. Also, I have been cutting his hair on the top doing horizontal lines. Is that right? I just saw a you tube video where they were taking the whole top vertically and then cutting it. Which way is more effective. Any tips would be very helpful, THANK YOU!!
No, I do just fine with his haircuts. I just needed to know how to blend it in. My husband is not ashamed to go out of the house, thank you very much!

Cutting hair is complex. You need to know angles and degrees as in math. You need to learn theory for hair condition, type of hair as in curly, straight, thin, thick, etc. I know you’re trying to save money by doing it your self so either have a pro talk and walk you through cutting his hair or let him go to the school as the students there are always under an instructor. Don’t keep trying on your own or he will get to the point that he will be too embarrassed to go out. Good luck.
